Gentry Foundation

The purpose of the Gentry Foundation is to create, provide, and encourage leadership development in our students through athletic and academic programs at Gentry Academy.

Our mission supports the physical and intellectual health of adolescents in our community, as well as highlighting and encouraging the development of leadership qualities that allow students to excel in all aspects of life.

We are funded exclusively from private donors, both individual and corporate from the public sector and we seek to award 100% of all donations

Our Philosophy

Athletic and academic programs promote positive physical and mental health, and research also indicates those programs provide opportunities to develop leadership skills. Working to advance physical and intellectual prowess helps young people develop discipline, self-control and confidence. It can also help them learn to encourage and motivate one another through effective communication and fighting for a common cause.

We seek to support Gentry Academy’s students and staff with these programs and activities that emphasize leadership development, thus allowing the youth in our community to function effectively as leaders in all aspects of life. Continuous exposure to such leadership experiences are the key to developing leaders in our community, businesses and country.

Why is the Gentry Foundation necessary?

The Gentry Foundation helps ensure the caliber of educational, athletic and leadership programs we have come to expect at Gentry Academy. Your donation ensures access to greater academic, athletic and leadership opportunities for all students, today and into the future.
