The Gentry Academy boys’ golf program is continuing to build on an exciting new era following the launch of its first independent season in 2026. In the years leading up to this transition, Gentry Academy student-athletes competed in partnership with Mounds Park Academy, gaining valuable experience and helping establish the foundation for today’s program.

The Stars made an immediate impact in 2026, finishing as the Section 4A Runner-Up as a team. The season also featured four individual Gentry Academy student-athletes competing in the 2026 State Tournament, highlighting the talent and dedication within the program.

Gentry Academy has built a strong reputation as a place where student-athletes grow both on and off the course. The program emphasizes personal development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill progression, while providing athletes with opportunities to compete at a high level and pursue their goals beyond high school.

Led by Head Coach Marshall Ahn, the Stars are focused on maintaining a competitive and supportive team environment where athletes can develop their skills and reach their full potential. The boys’ golf program is open to students in grades 7–12 and provides opportunities for athletes of varying experience levels to develop, compete, and grow.

With a 2026 Section 4A Runner-Up team finish and four individual State Tournament participants, Gentry Academy boys’ golf is establishing a strong tradition of competitive excellence and continued growth.
