To ensure the safety of our students, Gentry Academy require criminal background checks on the following:
— All employees, substitute teachers, and independent contractors
— Any volunteer who accompanies students off campus (i.e., chaperones for field trips).
— Any volunteer who is responsible for working with students on campus but not under the supervision of a licensed teacher.
Gentry Academy created a Wellness Committee that is committed to the health and wellness of its students, teachers, and staff. The committee will work together to meet four times each year to discuss and plan how schools can further follow the Wellness policy and in turn accomplish its goal of ensuring a school environment that promotes and protects students’ health, well-being and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating and physical activity.
Please note, this is provided as a courtesy. Gentry Academy does not endorse any of the agencies. For additional resources, please check with your health care provider.

We want to ensure that all our students and their families have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer. We are pleased to share information from the Minnesota Department of Education in regards to the The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The SFSP is designed to fill the nutrition gap during the summer months and make sure children can get the nutritious meals they need to achieve.
